At Mid-South Psychiatric Services, we offer personalized care, tailored to the mental health needs of our clients. We provide evidence-based treatments, utilizing modern assessments to deliver compassionate care to children, teens and adults. In-person and telehealth appointments are available.
Insurance and payment
We accept several major insurance plans, including Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Health, Optum, and Oscar. Self-pay is also available. If you're not sure about coverage, reach out before your visit and we'll help you figure out the next step.

Care for teens navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood swings, stress, trauma, and other concerns that interfere with school, relationships, and functioning.
Adults
Psychiatric assessment and treatment for adult patients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, psychosis, and other conditions affecting daily life.

Ethel Cobbett, MD
Dr. Cobbett is board-certified in both Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University then went on to graduate from East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine. Dr. Cobbett completed residency and fellowship training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN.
Dr Cobbett is licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi.
